Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching groups of 16-19 – year olds, motivated, whose approximate level of English is B2 (some – of higher level)
• Teaching English in accordance with the programme requirements
• 18-24 teaching hours per week
• Planning, assessment/marking and other teaching-related work beyond teaching hours
• Participation in collaborative planning and reflection meetings

Candidate Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in teaching English/ English literature or in the English language/ literature/ linguistics/ or related fields
• Experience of teaching IB Diploma programme English B and/or good understanding of the DP and DP’s English B assessment requirements
• An IB certification would be an advantage
• We are looking for a native English speaker (accent doesn’t matter) – preferably; OR a proficiency level English speaker

Work Conditions:

• Working offline, private school located in Budva, Montenegro, employment contract
• All the documents from the school required to get the residence permit/visa; guidance on the process of applying for the residence permit/visa
• Rate per hour is 20-25 euro depending on the candidate’s experience
• A certain compensation for renting an apartment can be discussed
• Transfer from the center of Budva to the school and back by bus
• The school provides the candidate’s participation in an IB workshop to become a certified IB DP teacher
