Primary School at Adriatic College
Harmonious Development
At the heart of the educational programme at Adriatic College Primary School is the harmonious development of the child's personality, focusing on an individual approach to each student.
Choosing an educational path: national and international educational programmes
Adriatic College offers two programmes for primary education:
- The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for students in grades 1-5
- The national general primary education programme
Experienced educators and proven methodologies
The educators at Adriatic College are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience. Modern, proven teaching methods allow children to easily and freely absorb new material: familiarising themselves with sounds and letters, mastering writing skills and working with graphic tools, reading aloud, and completing their first written assignments. We provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills for further education in secondary school.
A playful approach to developing social skills
Primary school teachers actively use playful teaching methods: presentations on lesson topics, vivid visual materials, group work, and educational games in class. All of this develops communication skills in children. Our academic programme aims to make gaining knowledge engaging and effective.
Extracurricular clubs
Adriatic College places great emphasis on extracurricular activities. We offer various clubs and sections: Olympiad mathematics and foreign languages, robotics and woodworking, American football and other sports, creativity, playing musical instruments, and English. We support students' interest in discovering new things and help develop talents in various areas.
Student support
We offer a comprehensive student support system, a personalised approach, and additional elective courses. In electives on main subjects, students can delve deeper into a subject of interest or discuss a topic they find unclear with a teacher.
Parental involvement
We encourage active interaction between parents and teachers and welcome their participation in school life, assisting in organising festivals for children, performances, and school-wide events.
At Adriatic College, primary school is a time for learning, discovery, and joy. We strive to create an environment where every child can reveal their potential and fall in love with learning.
If you have questions about the educational process, timetables, assessment methods, or course selection, please get in touch with our Academic Office. We will provide the necessary information and support in organizing the educational process.
