Access Control

At the entrance, an administrator and a security guard are always present to register all visitors and, if necessary, accompany them to their meeting place within the school building. This helps us maintain a safe and controlled environment, ensuring that only authorised individuals can enter the school premises.

Safety During Breaks and Events

Teachers are on duty to ensure safety and maintain order during breaks, in corridors, outdoors, in the dining area, and in other public zones of the school. The presence of teachers helps prevent accidents and resolve potential conflicts among students.

Safe Equipment and Infrastructure

We regularly inspect and maintain all the school's equipment and infrastructure to ensure safety and maintain their functionality. This ensures that educational and sports facilities are in good working order, prevent potential accidents, and contribute to a safe, comfortable, and effective educational environment for students and staff.

Special Safety Measures Due to the School's Location

Adriatic College is located on an elevation, necessitating additional safety measures. Students are prohibited from entering the school balconies without a teacher's supervision. We ensure that balcony exits are always locked, and the security officer keeps the keys to the balcony doors. This is done to prevent students' accidental access to potentially dangerous areas and ensure their safety, given the unique mountainous conditions of the school's location.

Evacuation and Emergency Drills

The school regularly conducts emergency evacuation drills to ensure that both students and staff are prepared for actions in case of emergencies.

Fire Safety Compliance

Adriatic College is equipped with modern fire alarms and automatic fire extinguishing systems. Staff regularly undergo fire safety briefings, and students participate in fire drills to know how to act in case of fire. Regular checks of fire hydrants and extinguishers are also conducted.
