Adriatic College Music Class
Harmony of Learning and Creativity

At Adriatic College, we recognise the value and necessity of creative disciplines such as music education. Developing a well-rounded personality is one of our priorities. Music lessons are attended weekly by students from Year 1 to Year 6. Classes are held in a specially equipped room, creating the perfect atmosphere for diving into the musical world. We also offer lessons in vocal training and learning to play musical instruments – from classical piano and guitar to percussion.
Combining Traditions and Authorial Approaches
Our programme incorporates elements of Russian, Ukrainian, and Montenegrin music schools and proprietary methodologies. An essential part of the training is the study of Montenegrin folk music and the music of the former Yugoslavian countries, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural traditions of their country of residence.
Practice and Creativity

In lessons, students play musical instruments and can also create them from everyday materials, which develops their creative abilities and understanding of music. The learning process focuses on developing a sense of rhythm, musical ear, singing, and music composition and teaching music reading and the basics of musical literacy.
Collective Work and Projects
We pay special attention to ensemble playing. Students actively participate in the orchestra, developing their musical skills and teamwork abilities.
The school also engages in project-based musical activities. Within these projects, children choose which compositions to learn, distribute parts among themselves, and show initiative in the learning process.
At Adriatic College, music education is not just about acquiring skills but also an opportunity for self-expression and the development of creative potential, as well as an introduction to the diversity of world culture. We strive to allow every child to realise their potential and offer chances to participate in concerts and music competitions.
