Primary School Teacher
Adriatic College seeks a primary school teacher to teach core subjects according to elementary school standards. The candidate will develop and adapt teaching materials, assess students, communicate with parents, and participate in school events. A higher education degree in education is required, with preference given to candidates with experience. Essential skills include proficiency in teaching reading and writing methodologies and knowledge of child psychology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching core subjects: mathematics, reading, writing, and other essential disciplines according to elementary school standards
- Preparing curricula, materials, and activities tailored to the age characteristics and needs of students
- Assessing and testing to monitor student progress, analysing results, and making adjustments to the educational process
- Adapting teaching methods for students with various educational needs
- Regular communication with parents about their children's progress and needs, holding parent meetings and consultations
- Actively participating in the organisation and conduct of school events, festivals, and excursions
- Strict adherence to school policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene rules
Candidate Requirements
- Higher education in elementary education
- Preference for candidates with experience teaching in primary schools
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both students and their parents
- Knowledge of child psychology fundamentals and the ability to apply this knowledge to support and develop students
- Proficiency in teaching reading and writing methodologies, ability to develop literacy skills in students
