News and Events at Adriatic College

It was only recently that our senior students in the IB DP programme were introduced to the subject of Visual Arts, and this week, we will witness the impressive results. The students are opening their first full-scale exhibition of their works with their teacher at Adriatic College!

The library space, where the exhibition is being held, has already transformed into a kaleidoscope of experiences and perspectives on the surrounding reality, expressed through art. But the real magic will happen this Thursday: students who have only recently begun their studies in the challenging and engaging International Baccalaureate programme will step into the role of true artists and share the stories that inspired their works.

Forget for a moment about standard exhibitions — each piece will tell its unique story here. Inspired by masters such as Luigi Ghirri, William Eggleston, Peter Doig, Alberto Savini, and others, our young artists embody a fresh perspective on the world around them, blending the colours of their inner worlds with the realities of new life.

Expect to see everything, from collages and photos to drawings and mini-sculptures. These aren't just artistic objects; they are stories of change told through creativity.
