In May, Adriatic College will hold entrance assessments for applicants to different school programmes. We are publishing the dates, assessment format and approximate duration of the diagnostic process.

Entrance assessments at Adriatic College will take place on 20, 26, 27 and 30 May. They are intended for applicants to Grade 1, the National Programme, the Pearson Primary / Secondary programme and the IB Diploma Programme.
The assessment helps determine the child’s current level of preparation, understand their academic needs and choose an educational route according to the programme and age.
The format depends on the grade and the selected programme.
Grade 1
For admission to Grade 1, a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of school readiness is conducted.
Duration — approximately 1.5 hours.
National Programme, Grades 2–9
The entrance assessment includes:
- mathematics;
- language and literature;
- English;
- a meeting with a psychologist.
Duration — approximately 2.5 hours.
Pearson Primary / Secondary
For admission to the international Pearson programme, the child takes:
- mathematics;
- English;
- an interview;
- a meeting with a psychologist.
Duration — approximately 2.5 hours.
IB Diploma Programme, ages 16–19
For admission to the IB Diploma Programme, the following are required:
- mathematics — 1.5 hours;
- text analysis — 1.5 hours;
- an academic interview.

20 May, Wednesday, 16:00
Pearson Secondary School, for applicants aged 10 to 16.
26 May, Tuesday, 14:00
IB DP Mathematics. For the online format, the start time is 14:30.
27 May, Wednesday, 14:00
IB DP Text Analysis. For the online format, the start time is 14:30.
30 May, Saturday, 09:00
Grade 1: National Programme + Pearson Primary.
30 May, Saturday, 11:30
Grades 2–4 Pearson, Grades 2–9 National Programme.
