When the School Becomes a Gallery: A Unique Exhibition of Student Artwork

We celebrated the grand opening of the student art exhibition as part of the new Visual Arts subject introduced in the IB Diploma Programme. The event transformed the school library into a cosy gallery where students became true artists by presenting their works. This day marked the beginning of a new stage in art education and became a memorable highlight for all participants.

🖌️ Visual Arts lessons are periodically held in the spaces of the school library. During these lessons, children passionately create their works. It's said that soon there will be an exhibition at the school. Everything is as in any good school.
It still seems unbelievable that this could become something impressive and memorable for a lifetime.
✨ But the moment of cutting the ribbon becomes something bigger than just a symbolic gesture. In an instant, everything falls into place.
Ordinary students transform into "professional" artists. They don't just show their works; they present them, proudly sharing what inspired their creation. In these stories, all works are imbued with meaning and personal histories.
The school library acquires the traits of a cosy, intimate gallery as if it were specially created for this purpose.
Parents and teachers become guests of an incredible event, travelling through the exhibition and interacting with real artists. It's evident how everyone is impressed not only by their children's talent but also by the incredible atmosphere that reigns in the gallery.
📚 Remember how, in childhood, you would open a drawing album, and each page was a whole world? Well, this exhibition is like that album, only live. Here, every drawing, every work tells its own stories, sincere and vivid, like the dreams of the kids who created them.
🌟 This was not just an exhibition opening day; it was the day when students became artists, and the library became a gallery.
Today, the exhibition continues, and although the opening is behind us, the feeling of celebration and joy still lingers. All participants will surely remember it for a lifetime.
