News and Events at Adriatic College

Adriatic College is the only private school in Montenegro holding a state educational licence issued by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro.

For students, this means studying within Montenegro’s official education system and receiving state-recognised documents.

At the end of each academic year, students receive a svjedočanstvo — an official document confirming completion of the educational programme.

Year 9 graduates take Montenegro’s compulsory state final examinations and receive a document confirming completion of primary education.

After Year 9, students may continue their education at grammar schools, vocational schools and other secondary educational institutions.

Studying at a licensed school may also serve as a basis for obtaining a temporary residence permit for study purposes and subsequently arranging documents for the student’s family in accordance with the procedure established by law.

A state licence entails requirements concerning teachers’ qualifications, the educational process and the quality of the school’s work, compliance with which is monitored by the relevant state authorities of Montenegro.

One of the results of this work is reflected in the performance of Year 9 graduates in the state examinations.

Over four academic years, Adriatic College graduates have demonstrated consistent results in the state examinations.

These results reflect not only preparation for final assessment, but also the work of students and teachers throughout the entire educational process.

The Adriatic College national programme combines an official educational pathway in Montenegro, academic preparation and the opportunity to continue education after Year 9 within either the national or international education system.
