Adriatic College hosted the first session of the Founding Assembly of the Student Council. The participants discussed plans for the council, reviewed the draft Constitution, elected permanent committees, and signed the act putting the Constitution into effect.
On 5 June, Adriatic College held the first session of the Founding Assembly of the Student Council. During the meeting, participants discussed how the Parliament will work in the near future, reviewed the draft Constitution, and elected two permanent committees. These committees will be responsible for preparing the final event of the academic year and reviewing proposals for amendments to the Constitution.
The key news is that the Constitution was adopted by a majority vote, and each member of the Assembly signed the act of its adoption. The Student Council now has an official document, which will soon be published and made publicly available.
The session was attended not only by members of the Parliament but also by students, teachers, and the school administration. The Principal, Aleksandr Korovin, supported the students’ initiative and also signed the act of adoption.
