Adriatic College at the Eco Festival in Budva

US1 and US2 Pearson students prepared a workshop for the Eco Festival in Budva about how to interact responsibly with pets. Children learned the basics of caring for cats and dogs and took part in an interactive game.
Adriatic College took part in the Eco Festival in Budva.
US1 and US2 students of the international Pearson programme led a workshop titled “Talking to Animals”.
During the session, children and adults learned:
- which foods are safe for dogs and cats, and which could harm them;
- how to read animal body language;
- how to behave around pets so that they feel safe and comfortable.
After the workshop, the students organised a “TRUE or FALSE” game. At small stations, children answered questions and received a sticker for each correct answer. Collecting ten stickers, participants exchanged them for a handmade souvenir — a painted stone with a cat or dog design created by our student Anton.
The students highlighted that caring for animals is part of caring for the community, and respect for pets helps to nurture responsibility and attentiveness.
